Contestant Yoo Sung Eun who displayed her explosive vocal talent on ‘Voice Korea‘ drew attention for revealing her connection to Big Bang‘s T.O.P.

On the May 24th episode of Mnet‘s ‘Beatles Code 2‘, MC Shindong asked Sung Eun, “Is it true that your brother is close to Big Bang’s T.O.P?”

Sung Eun answered, “He was a friend of my brother’s when we were younger. Seung Hyun (T.O.P’s birth name) oppa came over to our house a lot.”

When asked if he was chubbier back then, she answered, “He was, but he was attractive then too. He used to rap to himself everywhere he went.”

The curious MCs then asked if she had a personal crush on him, and she responded honestly by saying, “A little bit…”

The string of questions didn’t end there, as the MCs wanted to know if T.O.P still recognizes her. “He should,” she said. “I saw him once after he debuted, and he recognized me. He told me I grew up quite a bit.”

Actor Lee Dong Gun rumored to make a comeback to the small screen this fall

Actor Lee Dong Gun is rumored to be making a comeback to the small screen with MBC’s upcoming drama, ‘The Secret Lovers‘.

Having completed his army service in March, Lee Dong Gun was previously rumored to be making a comeback with ‘I Can’t Lose‘. With the drama unfortunately being pushed back in production, he’s inevitably had to pick another one, which ended up being ‘The Secret Lovers’.

The drama is a remake of the romance comedy movie, ‘My Girlfriend is an Agent’. A majority of officials in the industry revealed, “Lee Dong Gun is currently named as the most likely leading cast member of ‘The Secret Lovers’.”

‘The Secret Lovers’ is expected to begin airing in September with participation by writer Chun Sung Il, the writer for the original film, and PD Kim Sang Hyub.

After Lee Hyori admitted her photo shoot pictorials are edited using photoshop, netizens are growing more curious as to what kind of adjustments are made to celebrities’ photos.

On the May 24th episode of Onstyle‘s ‘Golden 12‘, Hyori took part in a photo shoot with Honey Lee. It was on this episode that Hyori confessed, “I not only have the greatest stylist and photographer, I also have someone who professionally re-touches my photos, so I never worry about a thing when I take pictures.”

What do 2NE1, B2ST, and T-ara’s comebacks in late June-July mean for new artists?

The comebacks of idol groups 2NE1, B2ST, and T-ara have new, hopeful artists a little weary.

There are reports that the comebacks of these powerhouse idol groups in late June and early July do not bode well for upcoming artists. All three groups have proven themselves to be worthy adversaries in the K-Pop world as they’ve won first place on music television programs in addition to achieving all-kills on music charts.

2NE1 is slated to return with an album in mid-June. The YG Entertainment group is known to have had all-kills on music charts with their tracks: “Don’t Cry“, “Lonely“, “I Am The Best“, “Hate You“, and “Ugly“.

Idol group B2ST is expected to be making their comeback towards the end of June. They’re said to be in the final stages of their album production, though no official announcement has been made yet. B2ST is known to stand out in terms of music and performance quality. The group enjoyed success with their track “On Rainy Days” last year when they won first place with the song on KBS‘s ‘Music Bank‘. In addition to this, B2ST’s ballad and dance tracks have done well on music charts.

Last but not least, T-ara is scheduled to make their comeback on July 7. T-ara, whose popularity skyrocketed after they reached number one on music programs for the very first time with hit track “Roly Poly“, have proven themselves as stiff competition. Fans are highly anticipating their upcoming single “Day by Day“, which will be choreographed by Jonte Moaning. The choreographer is famous for working on “Single Ladies” with Beyonce in the past. T-ara will be returning as an 8-member group with the addition of another member at a later time.

A music representative recently pointed out that June might be a bad month for new hopeful artists. “If they avoid Big Bang and Wonder Girls, who will comeback in early June, they [will be facing] 2NE1, B2ST, and T-ara on music charts. It’s extremely difficult to schedule a comeback for other artists.”

13 new posters unveiled for ‘I Do, I Do’

After receiving much netizen attention for the release of their four official posters, MBC‘s new mini-series ‘I Do, I Do‘ (starring Kim Sun Ah and Lee Jang Woo) is back with a slew of new hidden posters!

Included in the batch is a ‘B cut’ poster that was cut from making it to the final four for being too sexy, as well as other fun new shots that will surely pique the interest of drama fans, making for a total of 17 posters.

Don’t let the quantity fool you, though, as they’re of top notch quality as well, which is why producers decided to go ahead and release them straight after the unveiling of the official posters.

CEO Lee Kwan Yong, the designer behind the posters, expressed, “We originally came up with ideas for four total posters and filmed accordingly. During the photoshoot, however, the cast came up with a variety of their own ideas and took part in the planning process with the photographer. In the end, we realized that there wasn’t one cut we could throw away because they were all just so good. Fortunately, they all ended up being used as great posters.”

Big Bang’s T.O.P is interested in skater Kim Yuna?

Designer, Lee Sang Bong recently made a statement, hinting about Big Bang T.O.P‘s interest in popular skater, Kim Yuna.

On May 19th, famous designer, Lee Sang Bong attended the ‘Youth Festival’ in Yeoeuido, Seoul and gave a lecture there. The lecture revolved around Lee Sang Bong’s topic, ‘The Blue Spring Movie that I’m filming’.

When Lee Sang bong was asked a question regarding his acquaintance with skater, Kim Yuna, he revealed, “Recently, Big Bang’s T.O.P also asked me whether [I thought] Kim Yuna was pretty“, indicating his interest in the Olympian. He then went on to praise Yuna’s prettiness by saying, “Kim Yuna has charms from both the East and the West. Her body and face is high class. She has begun to show a more mature charm lately.”

Lee Sang Bong is a Korean fashion designer who incorporates Korean calligraphy, Hangul into his fashion designs. He also started his acting career when he was in his 20s.
